Suss Müsik recorded a live improvisation of avant-garde, acousmatic, glitchy sounds with handmade devices. What resulted was something of a mini-epic entitled Slough Figures, a title that made sense at the time. As of this writing, unfortunately, Suss Müsik has no recollection of where that phrase originated or why it was chosen for the title of the piece.

The device setup for Slough Figures included a custom MIDI input, a grain/glitch generator with joystick, a TFT-powered touchscreen voice/loop trigger, and an old iPad 2 running the Samplr app that was fed into acoustic timbres for strings and piano loops.
